Giving Back and Spreading Cheer
Honda was working to spread some cheer this holiday season with the 50th Annual CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish. The Honda Canada Foundation and Ontario Honda dealerships worked to collect toys for the holiday season. The drive lasted over a month and included nearly 78 facilities.
According to Honda, the Honda Canada Foundation event collected a whopping 4,000 toys for children in need this season. Ontario residents brought new toys to local collection sites where they would be distributed to other Canadians. There was even a chance to enter a drawing and win a new car, courtesy of CP24.
“The CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish brings joy to children and families in need and the Honda Canada Foundation couldn’t be happier to be a part of this important cause for the sixth year,” said Dave Gardner, Senior Vice President of Operations of Honda Canada Inc. “We’d like to thank our customers, associates and suppliers for their generous donations, as well as the continued involvement of Honda dealers across the province. This is what holiday giving is all about.”
The Honda Canada Foundation also works with companies like the Earth Rangers Bring Back the Wild, Make a Wish, and the Ontario Science Centre. This holiday event is just one of many ways the brand is dedicated to giving back to the community.
