Summer Road Trips in Alberta

The summer months are a great time to kick back, relax, and maybe travel a little. There is no better way to do that than by hitting the open road! If you’re looking for alone-time or a bonding session with friends or family, summer road trips are the perfect opportunity for either. Read on to hear about some of our favorite drives:

Kananaskis Country: We love K-Country because there are plenty of parks to get out and stretch your legs along the drive. Hike, ski, or even whitewater raft in this amazing park district that includes cave tours!

Icefields Parkway: What kind of list would this be if we didn’t mention Icefields Parkway? Between the wildlife, glaciers, waterfalls, and rock formations, there will always be something to see outside your window. Plus, if you’ve run out of conversation topics, we’re sure the view will leave you speechless.

Boomtown Trail: For something a little closer to home in Edmonton, try Boomtown Trail. You don’t have to travel far to see something fun. On Boomtown Trail you can explore towns that are a step back in time. Enjoy the restored history!

Cowboy Trail: Satisfy even more old west tastes by the Canadian Rockies. You’ll drive through a variety of landscapes, from foothills to mountains – it’ll be hard not to get swept away. Get out and explore at the Bar U Ranch National Historic Site and learn all about life living on a ranch.

If you’re looking for a vehicle to get you where you want to go this summer, look no further than St. Albert Honda!
